- Aligns with circular economy practices.
The raw material from which cardstock is made is certified by Preferred by Nature to meet FSC standards, which means it comes from FSC -certified recycled feedstocks.

Climate: Encourages carbon storage in forests and mitigates climate change effects.
Advances in recycling technology allow 100% post-consumer waste paper, such as Mohawk Options, to achieve comparable levels of quality, brightness, and strength as premium non-recycled papers.
According to G.F. Smith, purveyors of fine papers since 1885:
"For those that need the tactility of an uncoated stock with the print performance of a coated paper, Mohawk Options is the answer. This stunning premium 100% recycled grade white paper has exceptionally high opacity. It is an FSC certified paper with tremendous versatility, giving outstanding results on offset, heatset, waterless and digital presses."
This says it all!
We use NeoPigment inks—formulated with water as the primary solvent—to minimise environmental impact and ensure user safety.
Traditional inks use petroleum-based solvents, which often contain Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and other harmful substances.
NeoPigment inks are non-hazardous, non-toxic and biodegradable.
Our greeting cards can be safely recycled in municipal systems.
- Keep cards in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Store them in protective sleeves, a box, or an album to avoid dust and physical damage.
- Handle cards with clean, dry hands to avoid smudges, fingerprints, or stains.
- If displaying a card, use a frame or cardholder to keep it clean and protected from environmental elements.
- Proper care ensures your greeting cards remain keepsakes for years to come.
The Giclée method employs high-resolution inkjet technology and archival-quality inks to produce prints with remarkable detail and colour accuracy, making it a preferred choice for artists and collectors seeking museum-quality reproductions. You’ll love the results!
A typical U.S. pulp and paper mill generates 1.3 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year, two-thirds of which comes from burning lignin.
Researchers are exploring the use of bio-based compounds (e.g. Deep Eutectic Solvents) to dissolve lignin rather than burn it, however this technology is still years away.
Mohawk (our cardstock supplier) purchases Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) to match 100% of the electricity used in its operations, and is Green-e certified.
