Whether you’re off to a wedding, out on the town, or down at an action, strap on a kilt and roll the dice. Who knows where you'll end up? In the pub? In a cell? Up a creek? In the sack? There's just no telling!
Worn by royals and revolutionaries alike, the kilt knows no boundaries. It goes with anything, from leathers to Harris Tweed. Curating the look is half the fun of it.
A 100% wool kilt is a thing of beauty and an investment that will last generations.
THE LIBERATION KILT
Our kilts are made by Alan Moore, a Scottish tailor in the historic port town of Oban, from tartan cloth woven by Andrew Elliot Ltd, one of Scotland’s few remaining artisanal mills. Kilt straps are handmade by McRostie Ltd (founded in 1887), from leather sourced from JF&J Baker Ltd, Britain's only remaining oak bark tannery (founded in 1862). Buckles are hand-forged by Royal Warrant holder Abbey England.
We currently offer kilts exclusively in our Keeling climate change tartan, of which there are two versions: red and green.
Choose between the standard machine-sewn kilt or premium handsewn kilt.
