Returns & Refunds Policy
General Policy
In the unlikely event that you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we will provide a free replacement—no need to return the original item.
To request a replacement, contact us at support@liberationkilt.com with a description and photo of the issue within 30 days of receiving your order.
All the products we currently offer for sale are made to order, meaning we do not accept discretionary returns (e.g., change of mind).
For T-shirts, consult the size charts (find here and on all t-shirt product pages) to ensure that you don't order the incorrect size!
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify us as soon as possible. We will send a free replacement at no additional cost.
To process your replacement, email support@liberationkilt.com with:
- A clear photo of the issue
- Your order number or proof of purchase
Once approved, we will arrange for a new item to be shipped to you.
Cancellations & Modifications
- Once an order enters production, it cannot be canceled or modified.
- If you need to make changes, contact support@liberationkilt.com immediately, and we will attempt to stop production, if possible.
Shipping Issues & Incorrect Addresses
- If an order is returned due to an incorrect shipping address, the customer is responsible for reshipping costs. If a package is lost due to an incorrect address, a new order must be placed at the customer’s expense.
- To help prevent such issues, we have implemented an address-checking system at checkout.
Returns & Refunds
- We do not accept returns for discretionary reasons (e.g., change of mind).
- For defective or incorrect items, we will send a free replacement.
- If an order requires a return for investigation, we will handle it through our production partner’s facility.
- Refunds are not issued, except in rare cases where a replacement is not possible.
European Union (EU) & UK Consumer Rights
If your order is being shipped to the EU or UK, ordinarily you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt. However, this does not apply to made-to-order or personalised items, which are exempt from the cooling-off period under EU and UK consumer laws. Since all our products are made to order, we do not accept discretionary returns under this policy.
If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, you are still entitled to a free replacement at no cost.
Lost, Undeliverable, or Unclaimed Packages
- Lost-in-Transit Orders: If your order is lost in transit, you must submit a claim within 30 days after the estimated delivery date. If confirmed lost, we will send a free replacement at no additional cost.
- Incorrect Address & Unclaimed Packages: If an order is returned due to an incorrect shipping address or remains unclaimed, the customer is responsible for reshipping costs.
- Unclaimed Returns: We do not issue refunds for unclaimed orders.
Final Notes
- This policy does not override consumer protection laws in your country.
- We reserve the right to update this policy to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
